Mountains inspires his music

You always have some or the other influence of the place you belong to and Singer Mohit Chauhan is no different. You can always hear of mountain from some of the film songs that he have sung and that’s where his roots are.

This self-learnt singer has his own style that is naturally within him. “As a singer you need to bring out the emotions of a song that the music director and the filmmaker expect out of you. I think the lyrics should be simple, straight and should fit into the tune and the character ofthe film,” says Mohit, who was in Chandigarh for the promotion of his latest album Fitoor
